Milton Garden Club
To achieve our objectives, our gardening activities run
year round. Our circle meetings run September through
April with a welcome back tea in August and a luncheon
in May for the installation of new officers. The transition
of officers takes place over the summer months as does
the program planning for the upcoming year.
- To promote an interest in gardening
and the design and management of
gardens
- To encourage civic planting
- To help in the protection of native
plants and trees
We enjoy working together

The Milton Garden Club has a long
history as a participatory organization
with each member working on one or
more committees. It takes everyone
working together and taking an active
part to make this the great club it is
today.
A committee chairman is chosen from
each committee to report on the
committee's projects and activities at
the monthly Board of Directors meetings.
The Milton Garden Club is affiliated with our District, State, Regional, and
National Garden Clubs. Our three circles are Dogwood, Morning Glory and
Sarracenia. Joining one of our circles is joining the Milton Garden Club.
The Milton Garden Club is a member of District I which is made up of garden
clubs from four of the twelve counties in Northwest Florida. Escambia County,
Santa Rosa County, Okaloosa County and Walton County all belong to District I
of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs. The Florida Federation of Clubs
(FFGC) is the state organization. It is part of the Deep South Region.
The Deep South Region is made up of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana,
Mississippi and Tennessee and is part of the National Garden Club.
The National Garden Club provides education, resources and national
networking opportunities for its members to promote the love of gardening,
floral design, and civic and environmental responsibility.
We, the Circles of the Milton Garden Club, are proud to be in sync with all of
our garden club affiliates and their goals.

The following is a list of committees that members
may choose to join: Awards, Civic Development,
Centerpieces, Community Pride, Flower Show,
